Complete Details

Join the Cycle of Good team for an immersive, hands-on Inner Tube Upcycling Workshop right in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. Cycle of Good is a unique social enterprise that breathes new life into waste materials while supporting communities in Malawi. This workshop is designed for those who want to combine creativity with environmental sustainability.

During this session, you will learn the artisan techniques used to transform punctured bicycle inner tubes—which would otherwise end up in UK landfills—into high-quality, durable fashion accessories. Our expert crafters will guide you through the process of cleaning, cutting, and stitching the rubber to create your very own personalized wallet or coin pouch.

Beyond the crafting, participants will get an inside look at how the "Cycle of Good" ecosystem works. You'll learn about our partnership with Malawian tailors, our commitment to fair trade, and how every product made helps fund childcare and non-profit initiatives in one of the world's poorest countries. This is more than just a craft class; it is an opportunity to join a global movement of sustainable trade. All tools and recycled materials are provided. No prior sewing experience is necessary, as our team will provide step-by-step guidance to ensure you leave with a finished product you can be proud of.
