Complete Details

The Open Group brings its world-renowned expertise in Enterprise Architecture (EA) to Reading for an intensive, practitioner-focused workshop. This upcoming event is designed to bridge the gap between high-level architectural theory and the gritty reality of digital transformation. As the 30th anniversary of the TOGAF® Standard approaches, this session focuses on "Architecting for the AI Era," providing attendees with a hands-on environment to explore how open standards can be leveraged to govern and scale artificial intelligence within the enterprise.

Participants will engage with lead contributors to The Open Group standards, including the TOGAF® Standard and the ArchiMate® Specification. The day begins with a plenary session on the evolution of the "Digital Enterprise," followed by breakout "EA Labs." These labs are specifically designed to solve regional business challenges, such as integrating sustainability metrics into IT infrastructure—a key focus of The Open Group’s Open Footprint™ Forum. Unlike larger summits, this Reading-based event emphasizes peer-to-peer networking and direct interaction with the Eagle AI Assistant™, The Open Group's proprietary tool for navigating complex standards.

The afternoon sessions will pivot toward professional development, offering a "Certification Outlook" for those looking to upgrade their credentials to the latest versions of the Architecture Portfolio. Whether you are a seasoned Chief Architect or a business lead responsible for digital strategy, this workshop provides the blueprints and the community support needed to drive interoperability and "Boundaryless Information Flow™" in an increasingly fragmented digital landscape. The event concludes with a roundtable discussion on the future of open-source initiatives and their role in the UK’s growing tech corridor.
