MHVision 2026 is the premier gathering for those dedicated to transforming mental health services within the NHS. As the demand for mental health support continues to outpace traditional service capacity, this conference focuses on the "Vision for 2026"—a future where care is integrated, preventive, and digitally enhanced. Set in the heart of Manchester, the event brings together policymakers, clinicians, and technology partners to rewrite the script for mental health delivery.

The program is structured around the NHS Long Term Plan’s commitment to expanding community-based mental health care. We will examine the progress of the Community Mental Health Framework and how Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) are successfully bringing together primary care, social care, and the voluntary sector to provide seamless support. Keynote speakers will address the urgent need to reduce waiting times for Children and Young People’s (CYP) services and how the "No Wrong Door" policy can be realized in practice.

Digital mental health remains a top priority. We will showcase innovations in remote monitoring, VR-based therapies for PTSD, and AI-driven triaging tools that help clinicians identify high-risk patients more effectively. However, we also acknowledge that technology is not a silver bullet. The "Lessons from the Frontline" sessions will provide a space for honest discussion on the challenges of staff burnout and the complexities of crisis care in an overstretched system.

One of the unique features of MHVision 2026 is the "Service User Perspective" track, where we hear directly from those with lived experience of NHS mental health services. This ensures that the strategies discussed are grounded in the reality of those the system is designed to serve. Attendees will participate in interactive workshops focused on suicide prevention strategies and the integration of physical and mental health care, leaving with an actionable toolkit to implement within their own organizations.
